Shelter: Home for Children
'About a year ago, I began teaching at Shelter, a children's home and for abused and orphaned children in Petaling Jaya. While I
certainly hope my time there benefited the children. While I certainly hope my
time there benefited the children, I could not help but gain a new appreciation
for opportunities and development of my own childhood. Before I left for the
United States last December, I learned up with a couple of good friends and
great volunteers at Shelter to create a short film as a small oversight to why
some of these volunteers give up some of their insights for these children. Do
